Downtown Cincinnati Senior Sessions

Cincinnati offers such a great variety of wonderful locations for your senior photo session! Many seniors take advantage of the plethora of urban looks in the downtown area. Whether you choose Smale Park, Washington Park, Piatt Park, Findlay Market or a rooftop parking lot, we can create fabulous images wherever we go.

Smale Park

Smale Riverfront Park is always a favorite for my senior clients. This park is located right on the Ohio River and surrounds the iconic Roebling Bridge which is a popular spot itself for photos. At Smale you can also find natural settings like tall grasses and seasonal flowers, a playground and splash pads.

Washington Park

Washington Park is located directly in front of Music Hall on Elm Street. Music Hall provides a beautiful backdrop and the whole area around Washington Park has lots of fun spots!

Piatt Park

Piatt Park is a lesser-known park in Cincinnati but it is actually the oldest park in the city. I could probably photograph seniors in and around this park for an entire day and not run out of great areas for portraits. Covenant First Presbyterian Church is a gorgeous building with arched doorways and ornate iron gates that I always love to use.

Parking Garages

Parking garages have become a popular setting for photo sessions in the past few years. Downtown, of course, has many parking garages. This one is a favorite for many area photographers and there are plenty of other great sites for photos within walking distance of this garage.

These locations are just a few of many fun backdrops in downtown Cincinnati. If you’re looking for an urban setting for your senior session, these are fantastic places to start. If you’re ready to schedule your senior session and start planning for this exciting experience, email me today at inlovelylightphotography@gmail.com. I’d love to work with you!
